Work here at KSA is really ramping up as we begin the final quarter of 2020 (thank god this year is almost over). Although 2020 definitely has had its negatives, KSA has found itself in a place where our current clients are expanding their scopes of work with us, and we are also bringing in new clients. With the increase of workload and the crazy Q4 we have ahead of us, we decided it was time to grow our team to accommodate the new business we have coming our way.

We are thrilled to have welcomed Carrie Ann Stern, Karen Jedson, and Amelia Oates to Team KSA at the end of September. We want you to know a little more about them.

Carrie Ann joins Team KSA as our new project manager, and boy do we need her help. Carrie Ann comes to us with over 20 years of experience in project and production management. Her productivity and expertise in managing large scale projects make her a perfect fit for this role at KSA. We know organizing our team can be a challenge, but if anyone is up to the task, it is Carrie Ann. She is a Warwick resident, and has two furry babies, Sundance and Scout. We are so excited she has joined Team KSA, and we can’t wait to reap the benefits of her talents.

Karen joins KSA as a strategic advisor and is highly skilled in management, strategic marketing, public relations, economic development, brand enhancement, and events promotion. She has 30 years of experience working with government officials, local leaders in the community, and tourism development practitioners. Karen spent the last 16 years as Director of Tourism, Culture and Development for the City of Warwick, which is how she first met Katie and they knew they needed to work together someday. Karen was a member of the Special Legislative Commission to Study Tourism Growth in RI for five years and was a member of the Northeast Economic Development Association and Discover New England.

Amelia is not really a new face at KSA. She first joined us as an intern in the summer of 2018 but had to go finish her bachelor’s before she could officially join the team. She spent her winter breaks in the Tide Mill helping the team however she could and graduated from Fairfield University in May with a major in Public Relations and minors in Communication, Marketing, and International Studies. She will be filling the role of Marketing Campaign Coordinator, and we are so excited she is finally a full-time member of the team. We can’t wait to continue to watch her grow.

Carrie Ann, Karen, and Amelia are going to be fantastic additions to Team KSA; we know they will kick some ass for us and be a vital part of tackling the Q4 workload heading KSA’s way.
